RESOURCES & RESOURCE ASSISTANT

The Advisory Service has a wealth of resources designed to support the inclusion of students with ASD and/or Semantic Pragmatic Difficulties. The Service is currently establishing a sophisticated resource library cataloguing system to complement the service provided by the Professional Development Centre. All schools will receive a catalogue of resources available for loan, containing Advisory recommendations.

Resource Manager:
To enhance and encourage school to use appropriate resources and to raise awareness of good practice; the Advisory Service has a Resource Manager available to all professionals, students, parents, carers and families. The Resource Manager will be responsible for demonstrating new products, advising schools on appropriate packages and liaising with resource providers, to ensure the individual needs of the students and their families are met.
