Michelle Tan - Language Peripatetic Teacher

Hello there. My name is Michelle Tan and I will be the new   Language Peripatetic Teacher for the Primary Advisory Service. 

 

Since I have your attention let me share some scintillating facts about myself. I decided 8 years ago that it would be a great idea to leave the sunny climes of Australia and make the long haul across to the UK, just for a short visit. Well, 8 years later and much to my mother's dismay, I am still here. I have been   teaching in mainstream schools in the London area for 6 years. My last post was at Southmead Primary where I spent many a happy day teaching children in  various Key Stages. I was then appointed as the Inclusion Leader for KS2 before being made Senco in September 2007.

 

I am looking forward to being part of the inaugural Primary   Service team. I am hoping to provide hands on and practical advice which can be readily applied in the classroom to ensure that children with ASD are able to access their curriculum at school.
