Emma Cutts - Primary Advisory Teacher

I began my career in New Zealand, co-ordinating vocational and residential community services for children and adults with  Autism and other learning difficulties.  I moved to London 3 years ago and have spent that time being a SENCO in two inner city high schools.  From my experience in managing SEN provision in high schools I have a firm understanding of the pressures placed on teachers to meet the needs of special needs of    students as well as their peers in the classroom.  My aims are to provide teachers with practical skills and solutions to the     everyday issues arise in the classroom.  It is also my aim to work with senior management in primary schools to ensure their schools are as ‘autism friendly’ as possible and to ensure their staff have the appropriate training to provide for all students.
