Bestbip Team: Liaise for adhd and asd training for next month.

Burntwood: Whole school inset 3rd September: strategies for language & communication within the classroom (Jo, Judy & Louise)

Chestnut Grove: Whole school INSET for language and strategies to be planned in September.  Develop staff questionnaire with Lucy.

Chestnut Grove:  Year 7 Transition Group: To develop a salt ‘modelling’ programme  or students struggling.  To help school measure success criteria: to plan with Lucy in September with identified students.

Elliott: TA communication project – workshops: to use questionnaires to plan a series of workshops.

Elliott: Social skills advice for 3 Elliott students.

Ernest Bevin:  Staff twilight session for identification of language difficulties to develop retention & retaining skills (semantics)

Garratt Park: Social Cohesion group intervention, monitor & Review 10KP.

John Paul: RSA opening minds project: service to models first 6 week intervention then staff to take over with service staff advising (1 hour or 2 x 30 minute sessions): Julian.

John Paul:  SALT Language/Social Skills Group based on buddy system with Lauren & Lorian (Marleen)

Salesian: to plan for KS3 nurture group alongside co-ordinator to provide weekly input & strategies with co-ordinator (Jo)

Saint Cecilia’s: Planning for TA forum for advice: education and salt and social skills training programme. (marleen & Louise)

Southfields: Literacy and language group to start as planned (Julian)

Southfields: ASD Group revised programme to begin (Julian)

October 2007

Battersea Tech: To help develop transition programme: Language and communication to go alongside current transition programmes already running.

Burntwood: Liaise with bestbip team & HI service to provide inset for anger management strategies for transition group (Jo)

Ernest Bevin:  TA programme for developing social and communication skills.

Garratt Park: Parental forum group to start on rolling programme: week 1: GP parents, Week 2: Secondary school parents, Week 3: Community Support, Week 4: Open forum for all with guest speakers.

John Paul: To Help develop chatterbox programme: autumn: modelling and ta training, Spring: Advisory planning and giving advice, Summer: Evaluation

Saint Cecilia’s: To start TA forum for advice: education and SALT begin social skills training programme.

Saint Cecilia’s:   OT Whole school training for accessibility plans and strategies for wheelchair users.  Training for staff on adhd traits in autism
