OUR UNIQUE SERVICE
A COLLABORATIVE APPROACH:
The Advisory Service Specialists (Teachers, Speech and Language Therapist and Occupational Therapist) work in a unique, collaborative partnership drawing upon each other’s skills and disciplines, therefore enabling the Advisory Service to provide a highly effective model of Outreach Support.

DELIVERING TRAINING:
The Advisory Service provides whole school training approaches, contributes to the LA Professional Development programme and uses less formal approaches (modelling / training). Delivering training enables the Service to influence good practice in mainstream settings, maximising the impact of improving the experiences, well-being and life chances of students with ASD, interaction and communication difficulties, rather than by just concentrating on pupil-focused support.
